Lighthouse Outreach Mission
The mission of The Lighthouse Project is to help adolescents, ages 12 – 18, develop positive decision making skills regarding sexual behavior, choices, and attitudes about pre-marital sexual activity; while providing resources for financial self-sufficiency and character/leadership development.
The Lighthouse Project program activities are designed to provide an intervention that promotes sexual abstinence until marriage among adolescents. Career planning and character/leadership development is provided to adolescents in preparation for self-sufficiency before engaging in sexual activity, as well as healthy relationship skills in preparation for healthy and long lasting marriages.
